For the last few years, springing forward and falling back, I've reset the clocks on Saturday afternoon so that sundown the day before re-syncs the circadian clock. The change in sunlight and time on Sunday doesn't seem as disorienting.
I let the "atomic" self-setting clocks and net time do their thing but the analog clocks, oven, microwave, coffee-maker, manually-set digital and car clocks that we look at more often get reset early.
